My client, a global consulting firm, are looking for an Associate Director to join their M&A team covering the Thames Valley and South Coast. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in the 2^nd biggest market in the UK outside of London, expanding their execution and origination capabilities, and has a clear progression plan to Director and beyond.

Job Title: Associate Director – M&A
Salary: £90,000

Location: Reading (3 days in the office per week)

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the team in executing transactions from start to finish across a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage deal teams and work closely with junior team members to prepare documentation for disposals, acquisitions, and fundraising.
• Play a key role in business development, liaising with clients, target businesses, and advisors throughout transaction execution.
• Preparing pitch documents and marketing materials and supporting presentations and sales pitches for new businesses.
• Overseeing the production of deal documentation, including information memoranda, teasers, and buyer research packs.
• Driving the origination capabilities of the team.

Required Experience and Skills:

• A Chartered Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A.
• End-to-end transaction experience, preferably across a range of sectors.
• Experience across buy-side, sell-side, and finance raising transactions.
• A commercial mindset, paired with a high level of accuracy, diligence and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across a wide network.
